At Footstools2u, we want you to be 100% happy with your purchases. We enclose a written guarantee with all delivered items from our standard range of footstools,ottomans and pouffes which states: -
"Thank you for your order. We hope you are absolutely delighted with this hand crafted, Yorkshire built, product. We guarantee the wood frame of this product for a period of one year. All other terms and conditions are available to view - CLICK HERE. If for any reason this product is not as you expected or has arrived with a quality defect we will gladly arrange immediate collection if you call us on 01977 680 606. Please keep this guarantee in a safe place and quote your name and order number if for any reason you need to get in touch with us."
However, we understand that sometimes and for whatever reason, you may wish to return the product you bought. With this in mind, we offer a 7 day return guarantee in which you can return your purchases to us for a refund. Footstools2u have legal obligations to all customers under the European Directive on distance selling (Distance Selling Regulations 2000) and we are pleased to be able to offer this guarantee to all our customers.
The regulations state that customers have the unconditional right to cancel orders within 7 working days without having to give us a reason. The 7 working days begin from the day after you receive the goods and if you wish to return your purchases in accordance with this regulation, we will provide a full refund for the purchase price of the goods. Please note that you will be liable for the carriage costs involved in the return of goods.
The charge for returning unwanted items is £45 per footstool, pouffe or drum & £85 for larger items such as benchstools and ottomans. Your refund will be forwarded to you within 30 days of us receiving the returned items. These charges are to cover the costs of administration and delivery back to our warehouse and do not affect your statutary rights.
It is important that the goods are in the original packaging and in the condition in which you received them. In the unlikely event that your items are damaged in transit, rest assured that we are committed to resolving such matters as quickly and efficiently as possible. You must report any damages by email: email@example.com or telephone: 01977 680 606. Please be sure to include your name and footstool order reference number in any correspondence.
